Are there burn restrictions in this part of Texas?

We are almost always under a ban for open fires here in Central Texas. That being said, We are unable to provide campfires during your stay with us.

What items are provided by the Lodge?

Out West Hunts provides the following: • Towels/Bed Linens/Pillows • Meals and drinks • Hunting license • Guides • Stands and blinds

What weapons and ammo are suggested/allowed?

The following is a list of weapons and ammo for hunting at our facility: Smallest recommended caliber is a .223 with 62 grain plus ammor AR platform rifles are legal Scopes recommended There are no restrictions on clip capacity No buckshot or armor piercing rounds allowed Shotguns and slugs are allowed For Bow Hunting: Mechanical heads are allowed Fixed blades are recommended Pull weight of 45 pounds recommended for Boar Hunting Traditional archery welcome

Are Non-Hunting Children, Spouses, Observers allowed?

Unfortunately we do not allow Non-Hunting children to accompany parents. We also do not allow Non-Hunting spouses or observers. Out time and effort goes towards our Hunting guests and accomplishing their target trophy.

What if I do not get a shot?

You only pay the harvest fee when you shoot and hit the animal. If you do not get a shot the only thing you pay is your deposit or non hunter fee.
